[Eat] Delicious Dim Sum - Crowded Place@ Taiji Eatery Restaurant, Bandar Puteri Puchong

One day I made a call to friend to borrow her micro 4/3rd camera Olympus E-P3 for my grandaunt 80th birthday dinner and asked her out for breakfast too. Well, she lives in Puchong and decided to try search for a good breakfast there. She recommended this dimsum restaurant, Taiji Eatery Restaurant at Bandar Puteri Puchong. When I reached there, I have to blurt out 'wow' again for the crowd. For a Chinese township, of course there will be lots more dimsum shop, and to my surprise it was crowded, this shop is located almost at the last row of the business lot. So I think I have made the right choice of following her recommendation. Please pardon me if I couldn't really write in Chinese :p I will try to put in more in chinese wordings after confirming it with my friends.

One of the prawn dimsum --> pretty good!

I think this is called 'Char Siew Sou' - Biscuit type of dimsum --> fillings were some flavoured pork not so sure what it made of.

Fried fish paste cake with sweetened sour sauce.

One of my favourite, Har Kuen - Prawn Roll --> Fried type ---- Yummy!

Hong Kong Prawn Chee Cheong Fun --> Nice!

Another type of Prawn Dimsum again but these were with parsley, hmm, pretty not my kind because of the parsley smell. For those who like parsley, I bet you will like it. The skin of the dimsum pretty thin and looked soft.

Steamed Fish Balls --> Delicious!

Chopped/Minced Crabstick Meat Dimsum -> Nom nom nom.... tasty!

Errmm, another parsley type dimsum, I think it's with Prawn. I dare not to touch it so not sure what it taste like because of the smell. My friend said it's very delicious, so I think yes.

Steamed Pork Ribs with Beans --> The taste was superb!

Stir-Fried Radish Cake - the taste is like those Fried Kuey Teow (Char Kuey Teow) but it's not noodle type 'hor fun' but in cubes of chopped radish cakes. Aroma was good and delicious!

Crowded!!! Pretty strategic location at the corner of shoplot but 2nd last row from the whole shoplot area.

[Eat] Scrumptious Chinese 9-Course Dinner!!! @Grand Palace Restaurant, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur

I was very honoured to be invited to attend my grandaunt 80th birthday dinner which was held at Grand Palace Restaurant, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur (one of the top shopping malls in Malaysia). I did not search around for any review or comment about this restaurant before attending the event, purely just happy and anticipate for it.

Surprised that their dishes gave me a very good impression especially the 'Double Boiled Superior Cucumber Soup", this was the highlight of the 9-Course dinner dishes. Top note: On special request, NO MSG allowed for the dishes. Every dishes were cooked with original spices and herbs and that made the best out of it! Definitely recommending this soup to everyone, as I did survey about this soup as well, everyone agreed! Therefore, please go and try it!

Logo of Palace Group - Captured in Pinhole Scene

Palace Three Combination - Do you notice the meat with mayonaise? That's the smoked chicken - absolutely finger licking good!!!!! A must try, the aroma of it just tasted so good!

This is only my portion, sob sob sob.... NOT ENOUGH!!!!

Personal Red Wine, all fully imported from Australia. Not by the restaurant but by ourselves.

HIGHLIGHT! Double-Boiled Superior Cucumber Soup - this is definitely the dish that makes me want to dine in again with them. Absolutely scrumptious!

Each per person only (mine), NOT ENOUGH TOO!!!

Funny that the waitress straight put this on the table asked if I wanna take the picture of this whole chicken before cutting into pieces. With a shocked face of mine, I said 'Oh okay, I will take this'. LOL! Purely taken just because of the waitress. LOL!

Here! Eight Treasure Truffles Chicken/Crispy Chicken with Mushroom. This was the chicken cut into pieces. Pretty good in putting back the chicken pieces accordingly. :-D

My portion again, artistically decorated by myself. Hehe!

Two Varieties of Grouper Fish - 2 different flavour. Thumbs up for this too! See the next picture for the artistic fried fish being cooked and decorated.

Different view of the grouper fish.

Closer view of it.

Another view -.-''' , just took it for fun! :p

Pan-fried Prawn with Superior Soy Sauce - nice!!!! Love prawns!

Sautéed Lotus Roots & Celery with Macadamia Nuts - for a carnivor like me whom don't really like to eat vegetables, I would say this was very tasty and amazingly I finished up my portion.

Finally the whole meaning of  the dinner with the dish name - Longevity Noodles! The noodles gravy was perfectly cooked and served hot noodles, which Chinese loves hot food, and the taste of it I just have to say one of the best I have eaten before.

Hehe again, my portion, forced by my sister to eat more vegetables by putting it on top.

A must have for a longevity dinner for Chinese - the Longevity Buns! Always comes in pink colour which always looked like a Peach. There is a story behind why Chinese used Peach as a longevity food.

And I always wondered why they always make this look like your backside.

The filling of the Longevity Buns - lotus paste with salted egg yolk - I love this! Yummy!!!!!

Dessert of the dinner - Sweetened Red Bean Pats with Sesame Dumpling. Not too sweet and very springy. Hehe!!! Nice too!!!!

Captured this for fun during the gaps in between the dishes. Alot more pictures I have taken but I couldn't put all in here, as some requested not to post it here due to their privacy purposes. Sorry for not able to share all.

Menu of the dinner. (Pinhole Scene again)

[Eat] Tasty Mamak Food-Maggi Goreng with Fried Chicken Drumstick + Teh Tarik@Restoran Ajimal, Sri Petaling

I know it's fattening! But when the mamak food crave strikes in, nothing can stop me to go to one of my nearby mamak restaurant that serves pretty nice and delicious foooooood! Come on, sometimes just off the routine and pamper yourself in the middle of the night with mamak food when your stomach asking for food. I kept telling myself, "Ok Alexis, after this time, you need to workout real hard to burn off the calories!". LOL!!! Well it motivates me sometimes. Hehe!

My fav! Teh Tarik (Hot Pulled Milk Tea-indian-styled milked tea) and Maggi Mee Goreng with Ayam Peha Goreng (Instant noodles with fried chicken drumstick), slurps! You can check my other post for the Hot Pulled Milk Tea.

Do you know it feels to bite on this? It's TASTY! absolutely more affordable than other fast food fried chicken and slightly bigger in size.

Yummy fried chicken drumstick, slurps, we ordered the second piece. Hehe!

Typical Maggi Goreng without chili but it was very aromatic. I guess they put in the whole spice powder when they cook it.

:p Tried to be artistic in taking food picture. Hehe! Of course with my  teh tarik behind there as background.

Milo Kosong Panas (Hot Milo without Milk) - Stomach filling!

Teh Tarik! In english, it probably to be called as Hot Pulled Milk Tea. The indian-styled of milked tea. Yummy!

Front View of the restaurant

[Eat] Hakka Food/Cuisine @Hakka Passion, Bandar Puteri Puchong

Today has been announced to be Malaysia Public Holiday for our new King's installation, the 14th King (Yang Di-Pertuan Agong). The day started with a great beautiful morning and I don't have to wake up early for work. I lazed around in my house for quite few hours, finally I couldn't stand being just at home and do nothing. So I made a call to one of my close friends. Agreed to have dinner together in Puchong. She suggested to try hakka food in Hakka Passion, Bandar Puteri Puchong.

Deep Fry Pork Meat - Normal, can get it everywhere

Hakka Style TungPo Meat (Pork) - personal opinion, not as good as I thought like in Esquire Kitchen. Even the lady boss of the restaurant agreed and said she will definitely improve the taste. I'm glad that accepted my point of view. Will try again probably next few months to taste if she improves it.

Steamed Bun for TungPo Meat - Texture Good, Taste Good

Salted Chicken - Good taste

Paku Vegetable Dish - Nice

Chili sauce for the Deep Fry Pork Meat (took it on purpose)

Steamed Rice - Perfectly done, fragrant rice.

Drinks - Their self-made Soya Bean (Left), Sugarcane Waterchestnut (Center) &  Barley Beancurd Sheet (Right) . Overall, pretty good drinks!
